This historic 18th century house provides
lodging minutes from the fabulous Maine coastline
and is within easy reach of the coastal towns, from
Portland to Pemaquid to the South and Camden and
Bar Harbor to the North. It is perfectly placed
for those touring Midcoast and is exactly halfway
between Boston and Acadia, offering a peaceful respite
from a long drive in summer traffic. Our summer
guests enjoy a drink on the lawn after a day boating,
fishing, whale watching (click
here to view a list of Blue Skye bird sightings),
and later enjoy listening to the peepers out on
the marsh from our fully screened and candlelit
sunroom. Our autumn landscape is breathtaking and
hundreds of acres of Maine wilderness beckon you
to explore from the back door.
In winter, Blue Skye glows with firelight. Guests
return from their adventures, light the fire, put
the kettle on and, if they wish, prepare their supper
in the inn’s kitchen. Privacy is a hallmark
of Blue Skye. While you are our guest, Blue Skye
belongs to you.
Blue Skye is open year round.
