Damariscotta is a pleasant place to stay while exploring the rest of the Pemaquid Peninsula. The best accommodation in the area, however, is at Blue Skye Farm in Waldoboro, just north of town. This B&B is favored year-round for its surrounding one hundred acres of woodland and its well-priced, appealing accommodations.
